Well, to begin with, Ashton Kutcher celebrated his 34th birthday today. (who would've thought...the young hot guy from That 70's Show and all those underwear ads is already on his way to the 40 mark) After taking Charlie Sheen's place on Two and a Half Men and splitting from cougar wife Demi Moore, one can see his life is changing. His co-workers surprised him on the set with this cake. He also recently donated his birthday to his DNA Foundation that he and Moore started by doubling all donations made that day to it. He tweeted about how happy he was, of course.
Surprisingly, even celebrities are giving Obama election advice. Beautiful Scarlett Johansson cohosted Runway to Win in New York City with Vogue's editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. It supported Obama's re-election campaign. She explained how fashion can help him win by saying, "I think the most important thing is that the fashion world has an international spotlight shown on it. To be able to use that spotlight on a cause like this is incredible." She also stated that "conscious consumerism" was appealing, and that "any way to reintroduce that kind of cool factor [to Obama's reelection campaign] is very valuable."
Glee's newest episode included the amazing Livin' La Vida Loca musician Ricky Martin. Let's give a run down on this sexy Spanish episode (i'm going to be speaking as though you readers know Glee):
Mr. Will Schuester gets replaced by Ricky, who plays a Spanish teacher who clearly is more knowledgable on the subject. This causes Will to feel frustrated, so he snaps at Emma. All in all things are resolved. He moves to teach History and gives his Spanish spot to Ricky who plays David, and apologizes to Emma.
Next, we were ALL shocked at how last weeks episode ended with Finn proposing to Rachel. Rachel brags to her besties of course, who freak. Kurt winds up angry at this, and yells at Finn, basically saying he has no idea what he is doing. Finn snaps back with a question about what if Blaine proposed to Kurt...how would he feel then? So he answers with silence.
We all see Sam still trying to win Mercedes over, even by serenading her. But even after counseling with Emma, Mercedes still basically chooses Marcus.
Sue Sylvester hits us with a shock. She wants to procreate. She wants a baby. Not only that, but she wants her forever enemy Will to be the father. Who saw that coming?!?!
Are they finally ready to try to have a child? Yes, i'm talking about Khloe Kardasian Odom and Lamar Odom. We saw in both the first and second season of their reality series that they were trying, or at least that they were interested. We also saw Lamar not being very sexual in season two, which led Khloe to try anything and everything, including buying a sex swing to hang over their bed (needless to say it broke on first try). Apparently Lamar's sex drive lowered quite a bit with the NBA lockout. This is why Khloe bought the swing, saying, "Having an NBA lockout, I think it really made him depressed. And that affected us in other areas, which I didn't realize until later. I was trying to overcompensate, like entertain him more. I was always trying to make him happy. I would think, 'This would made him happy.'" However, he bounced back after joining the Dallas Mavericks, and due to this, so did their thoughts of having a baby. They both believe having a baby any sooner would've been too soon, and that Dallas "might bring [her] a baby." We can only wait and see!
Of course one of the biggest topics this week was the Superbowl. GO GIANTS!!! By the way. Had to get it in there. But then of course, second to that, is the talk and topic of the halftime show. Even if you don't watch the game, almost everyone will tune into the halftime show, in which had to have something go wrong. Aside from Madonna being up there, not too much went wrong. (i'm sorry, that was not a necessary performance) Except for M.I.A., who decided to flip America the bird during her performance. This female rapper, performing in a wonderful faux-Egyptian costume, casually gave up the middle finger. This is nothing compared to Janet Jackson's famous nipple slip, but it will more than likely have consequences. Depending on what contracts she signed, and what her performance arrangements were, the most that will happen is a fine. The NFL or M.I.A. herself will probably get sued, which again goes straight to money. Her vulgarity will cost her the money she would've been paid. Big shock? Not really.
